20% of community hospitals plan to buy new EHR systems

A KLAS report finds that 80% of community facilities are confident their current EHRs will enable them to satisfy meaningful use mandates by 2013, while 20% said they intend to replace their existing systems. The report, based on interviews of more than 500 providers, also found that McKesson clients are most satisfied with their EHRs, followed by Meditech users.
