CMS approves funding to resume coverage for Arizona children

The CMS approved a two-year funding arrangement for the Arizona State Children's Health Insurance Plan, known as KidsCare, which stopped the enrollment of new children on Jan. 1, 2010. Three hospital groups will provide about $110 million in local government funds, and the federal government will provide more than $220 million to allow the program to add almost 22,000 new enrollees.
