Fla. official defends plan to revive incentive program for renewables

Several conservative groups are urging Florida Gov. Rick Scott to veto legislation that would reinstate a tax-incentive program for renewable-energy projects. Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam dismissed allegations that the bill would "pick winners and losers," saying the incentives would be offered to all kinds of renewable-energy projects, and only to those that have generated electricity.
