Construction unemployment reaches lowest rate since 2008

For the 10th consecutive month, construction companies increased their workforce in March, adding 18,000 workers, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America. Most sectors added employees, including residential building, specialty trade, and oil- and gas-pipeline building. However, hiring faltered in infrastructure. The industry's unemployment rate is 14.7%, the lowest in five years.
