Fed likely to consider continued easing through summer

After strong starts to both 2011 and 2012 faded as the year progressed, the Federal Reserve is likely to continue engaging in its bond-buying program in 2013, analysts say. "The fact they've been fooled multiple times by slumps in the U.S. economy means they're going to be a little gun-shy on the exit strategy," said Drew Matus, a former economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
