Report: Workers' comp costs in Fla. may increase after court decision

A ruling by a Florida appeals court declared unconstitutional a provision that caps temporary total disability benefits at 104 weeks, and the decision could result in a $65 million cost increase for the state's workers' compensation system, a report from NCCI Holdings says. The court has agreed to rehear the case after groups including PCI asked it to do so.
