Networks Consider Buying Old "Letterman" Shows

Cable networks reportedly are lining up to vie for the right to show episodes of "The Late Show with David Letterman" after their original run. Producers of the talk show are talking with CBS about future re-airings, possibly on Viacom networks VH1 or MTV. Comedy Central also has shown interest in the series, though the network secured the repurposing rights to NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" last month.
