P&G Reviews Pricing Practices In Effort To Remain Competitive

Procter & Gamble has reduced the price of its Swiffer WetJet by 50% just seven months after roll out. The price cut was in response to Clorox's lower-priced ReadyMop product, company officials say. Consumer products analysts say P&G has reduced prices on other brands, including Bounty paper towels and Luvs diapers, to win consumers who are unwilling to pay premium prices.
