Crestor cholesterol ads aim to break consumer complacency

AstraZeneca, airing ads aimed at baby boomers that detail people's efforts to get their cholesterol down, found consumers have not responded to rivals' ads for cholesterol-lowering pills by getting medical help. Reasons may be people do not have any outward symptoms or think they can solve the problem through diet and exercise alone, an AstraZeneca official said.
