Reports: Starwood CEO's resignation followed misconduct allegations

The abrupt resignation last week of Starwood CEO Steven Heyer was said to have been a matter of dissatisfaction with Heyer's management style, but there are recent reports that the resignation was triggered by an anonymous letter from an employee alleging personal misconduct. A report in The Wall Street Journal says Heyer, who is married, was questioned by the board about some e-mails between him and a female employee and about his hiring and promotion practices.
