Study: One-week triple therapy effective for H. pylori

An Italian study found that a one-week course of omeprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin was as effective as a two-week regimen of the same treatment in eradicating Helicobacter pylori. Researchers recommended one week of triple therapy for first-line treatment to eradicate H. pylori.
