Consumer Reports releases lawn care findings

Nearly half of Americans spend less than three hours a week working in their yards, according to the first-ever lawn care survey by Consumer Reports magazine. The survey also found that 38% of respondents never water their lawns and 26% would prefer a yard with less grass and more flowers, rocks and so forth. The magazine's May issue also includes advice on lawn care services and ratings on lawn equipment.
