Golf cart industry sees decline in demand, sales

The city of Augusta, Ga., produces almost 90% of the world's golf carts with facilities for both Club Car and E-Z Go. As demand for golf carts drops in tandem with the economy, some customers are buying refurbished carts or leasing carts instead. Orders for new Club Cars have fallen by as much as 20%, according to the company.
