Kansas university recognized for prostate cancer program

Medical magazine Urology Times has designated Kansas University Cancer Center's prostate cancer program as one of the 13 "Clinical Centers of Excellence" in the U.S. The ranking "is designed to provide physicians with a valuable tool when considering where to refer challenging cases," according to the magazine. The program utilizes advanced imaging and diagnostic methods, including a PET/CT scanner, for the detection of prostate cancer.
