More facilities use mannequins for nurse training

More hospitals are using high-tech mannequins that can simulate live births and medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and drug overdoses, to help transition nurses from the classroom to a clinical setting. Experts say the mannequins also help retain new nurses by making them more comfortable in practice.
