15 flights delayed by LAX security breach

Security checkpoints at Los Angeles International Airport were shut down for nearly two hours Thursday morning after a passenger inadvertently walked away with a carry-on bag flagged for secondary inspection. About 15 flights were delayed by the security breach, which halted screening in Terminals 5, 6 and 7. "He was not doing this maliciously," a TSA spokeswoman said of the passenger, who was found aboard a United Airlines flight and brought back for re-screening.
