Employees protest states skipping pension payments

Several states -- including New Jersey and California -- are skipping or deferring payments to public-employee pension funds as they struggle with budget deficits. Public-union groups are critical of the strategy. "Our members have sacrificed, some with their lives, and they deserve and expect to have their full pension," says Anthony Wieners, president of the New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association.
