Fed's Kohn says economy will emerge stronger, more stable

Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Don Kohn, who will be stepping down in June, predicts that the spending habits of Americans will be changed by the economic downturn, with the result being a healthier economy. "The U.S. economy should emerge from this episode stronger, more resilient and on a more sustainable growth path than before the recession," Kohn said.
