FTC considers privacy complaint over online targeting

The FTC is reviewing the complaint of a group of advocacy organizations seeking a probe into targeting by ad exchanges. "This is couched in the name of privacy, but it's an anti-media, anti-advertising effort," said Stuart P. Ingis, an attorney for a number of the firms named in the complaint.
