CFOs say bad IT holds them back, survey finds

More than half of finance executives say they believe their departments are being held back by out-of-date or inflexible IT, according to a survey by KPMG. Sixty-five percent said technology will become increasingly important in the coming years. The findings suggest chief financial officers and IT managers have an opportunity to work together to improve finance operations, KPMG says.
