Food waste, water top General Mills' list of green concerns

Cutting down on food waste, ensuring a sufficient water supply, tapping sustainable food sources and creating greener packaging are all on the list of sustainability issues to be tackled as part of General Mills' ongoing green efforts, says customer sustainability director Bob Branham. "I think our retailers share all of the same concerns, from way upstream on the sustainability value chain to all of the way downstream, to food waste and waste management overall, including packaging."
