Get ready, managers: Young people are born to multitask

Up-and-coming employees are wired to approach work differently than the generations before them did, brain researchers say. Young people who have grown up around the Internet and digital media have developed different brain habits and memory skills to adapt to data overload. That includes the ability to pay partial attention to several tasks at once. Managers will have to keep that in mind when working with young team members, experts say.
