Spot prices for memory chips remain stable, firm reports

Spot prices for 2-gigabit DDR3 memory chips remained above $1 last week, the fourth straight week of stable pricing for basic memory types, inSpectrum reported. Buyers and sellers seem to be in a standoff on pricing, as suppliers don't want to reduce their quotes, the memory price-tracking firm said.
