U.S. agrees to hand over control of special operations in Afghanistan

U.S. forces will be restricted to supporting roles for night raids and other special operations in Afghanistan under an agreement made final between the U.S. and Afghanistan on Sunday. The deal brings the countries closer to reaching a more comprehensive partnership agreement involving the role America will play in Afghanistan after the 2014 deadline for troop withdrawal.
