AOL launches tool to help publishers offload inventory

A new tool from AOL, called Marketplace by ADTECH, aims to provide an automated supply-side platform through which publishers can easily offload their surplus inventory. The tool is targeted at the top 10,000 publishers, who will be given VIP treatment and will be allowed to speak with account managers. "This gets us back into the ad tech game in a serious manner," said CEO Tim Armstrong.
