Bernanke says recovery is unfinished business

The economy is strengthening, but "conditions are clearly still far from where we would all like them to be," Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said at a conference on financial stability. Bernanke's remark appears to rule out a quick Fed retreat from quantitative easing. "Most of the world's major industrial economies are engaged in expansionary monetary policy, and on net I think that's mutually constructive," he said.
