China's wind power output jumped 41% in 2012, agency says

China's wind power production rose to 100.8 billion kilowatt-hours in 2012, up 41% from 2011, according to data posted by the country's National Energy Administration. China's installed wind power capacity totaled 62.7 gigawatts in 2012, up 31% from 47.9 GW in 2011, the data showed. The country aims to have 100 GW of installed wind power capacity and generate 190 billion kWh of wind energy by 2015.
