GE to open oil and gas research center in Okla.

General Electric announced that it will build a $110 million Global Research Center in Oklahoma, bringing 125 technology and engineering jobs to the state. The facility, which will be the company's first sector-specific center, will allow the company to get products onto the market more quickly and is expected to drive technological advancements in the oil and gas industry.
