JetBlue to receive first Airbus jet assembled in U.S.

Dave Barger, the CEO of JetBlue Airways, said the carrier would receive delivery of the first Airbus jet assembled in the U.S. It will be completed in 2016. "We'll be the launch customer of this assembly line," Barger said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the facility in Mobile, Ala. "We have well over 100 of the A320s today. It's a big day for JetBlue as well."
