Study: BPA fears could hurt metal-packaging industry

The metal-packaging industry could suffer over the next decade due to consumer fears associated with the use of bisphenol A, a Visiongain study reported. "BPA related issues may reduce profitability of the metal packaging sector if consumers begin to shy away from metal packaging products or if more governments ban BPA-containing products," the report said.
