Neb. cornea recipient is committed to tissue donation

Patrick Keller, a 38-year-old man who suffered clouded vision in his left eye after a job-related injury in 2011, returned to work quickly after a cornea transplant in October. Keller received the cornea through the Lions Eye Bank of Nebraska. Keller said the transplant helped him learn about the importance of donation. "I'm definitely going to be a donor. Somebody lost their life and gave me a chance to live mine normal," he said.
