Social media creates a more fluid workforce, economists say

Online recruiting platforms and social media tools are making it easier for workers to interact with potential employers, which could lead to higher workforce "churn," economists say. "The more information that people have, the more efficient the labor market should be in matching people with the optimal job," said Stephen Stanley, chief economist at Pierpont Securities.
