Florida sees construction deaths rise, but injuries drop

As Florida continues its construction boom, the state is seeing an increasing number of construction-related fatalities. The number of construction fatalities grew from 80 in 2000 to 115 in 2004. However, non-fatality injury and illness has declined from a rate of 8.3 in 2000 to 6.6 in 2004.
