Cablevision to appeal ruling on network-DVR service

Cablevision hasn't thrown in the towel in its fight to deploy a network-based DVR service. The company announced plans to file for an expedited review with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit after a lower court blocked the rollout of the service last month. Cablevision's filing contends that the lower federal court misapplied copyright law as it relates to remote-storage DVR technology.
