Study: Wyeth epilepsy drug helps reduce seizures

Wyeth's new epilepsy drug retigabine was shown safe and effective in a study by Pennsylvania researchers. The drug is being developed to help people with partial-onset seizures in cases not fully controlled by other drugs and works by opening potassium channels.
