Applications of anhydrous ammonia behind schedule

Applications of anhydrous ammonia in the U.S. are lagging because of weather conditions that have prevented preplant nitrogen applications in the field, according to fertilizer wholesaler The Andersons. The company's Plant Nutrition Group says it could be another week before work can begin in the fields, and the chance for preplant applications could be gone by then.
