Chinese telecom vendors find new success at home

Huawei Technologies and ZTE are finally starting to outpace their overseas rivals in their home markets, according to analysts who cite the Chinese government's newfound backing for wireless technologies and an aggressive pricing strategy for their success. The vendors are fighting over shares in an estimated $59 billion in contracts to build 3G wireless networks over the next three years.
