Remember the scene in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," in which the visitors are licking the orange-flavored wallpaper? It made a big impression on Adnan Aziz. He went on to found a company that makes edible films, allowing consumers to taste products from lime-spiked rum to baking-soda toothpaste. Their taste strips have so far appeared in magazine and direct-mail campaigns, but the next frontier is riskier: Flavored newspaper ads.
