President Barack Obama is meeting today with senior economic officials from the Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Federal Reserve to discuss the financial crisis. The participants are expected to draft a plan for more aggressive action to bolster the economy. "[Obama] will make it clear that it took a long time to get into this crisis [and] will take time to get out," an administration official said. "He'll be briefed on progress of our aggressive efforts and what more needs to be done."
