Retailers, manufacturers say Britons' feet getting bigger

Manufacturers, suppliers, designers and retailers say demand has increased for longer men's shoes and broader women's shoes in the UK. Shoe sales at Debenhams indicate that the average shoe size for a British male has jumped from eight to nine over the past five years. The trend is resulting in a variety of challenges for retailers.
