Eco-friendly practices blossom in the landscape industry

Sustainable plant care practices are gaining traction across landscaping and gardening industries, brought upon by environment issues and the need for convenience, according to some landscapers. Native plants, organic fertilizers and permeable pavement are some of the features that are becoming popular in today's landscaping, because they lessen maintenance needs, irrigation and chemical use, said Jason Swope, owner of Landscape Management Solutions, Williamsport, Md.
