Chicago janitors agree temporarily not to strike

Chicago union janitors last week agreed "in principle" to a deal with the Building Owners and Managers Association, averting a strike threat. About 3,000 of the 13,000 janitors threatening to strike failed to reach terms; those who hadn't reached terms agreed to extend negotiations into this week.
