Tribune, DIRECTV resolve retrans dispute in time for baseball

As Tribune channels returned to DIRECTV last week, the satellite provider said it was pleased that Tribune recognized that all it "wanted from day one was to pay fair market rates for their channels." The dispute, in which DIRECTV accused Tribune of bad-faith bargaining, was resolved on the first day of the baseball season, fortuitously for fans in many cities.
