U.S. gas prices fell last week

The average price of gasoline in the U.S. declined by 0.2 cents last week, to $3.939 a gallon, according to a weekly survey done by the Department of Energy. "Gasoline prices in the hardest-hit areas have finally shown signs of relief, with prices falling now in Chicago as they have for a few weeks in California," said Patrick DeHaan of GasBuddy.com.
