Booking first-class tickets online is problematic, study says

A Consumer Union study found travelers encounter serious technology glitches when they attempt to book first-class tickets online, the New York Times reports. Travelers experienced "fare jumping" when using search engines Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity. They selected a fare from search results only to find it had changed when they tried to buy it.
