Loblaw refocuses in face of new competition

Loblaw Companies, Canada's largest grocery chain, posted its first earnings loss in nearly two decades due to increased competition from Wal-Mart. "We need to improve virtually every key driver of the business," executive chairman Galen Weston said. "We have not been focused on our core strength of being the best food retailer in Canada."
