Maryland schools to ban anti-bullying book

A book about the dangers of bullying will be banned from the high school curriculum in Harford County, after some 40 parents complained that vulgar language and slurs overshadow the main message of Robert Cormier's "The Chocolate War." The 1974 award-winning novel tells of a boy who is bullied because he refuses to participate in his school's chocolate-selling fundraiser.
