Pirates beware: New technologies catch cable thieves

Pirated cable is nothing new, but new watermarking technologies are making it easier to catch people who make illegal copies of pay-per-view and VOD content. Philips Electronics and Cinea, a unit of Dolby Laboratories, have come up with watermark solutions that allow a cable company to see specific subscribers.
