Entrepreneurship beckons younger women

Capitalizing on their networking strengths, a growing number of young women are opting for entrepreneurial pursuits, often after being laid off from corporate jobs. "I do think that the current economic situation may be a triggering event for people to think about alternative careers," said Ellen Rudnick of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago.
