Program teaches technology skills along with history lessons

Educators in a Texas district are seeking to improve low student scores on recent technology assessments through a program that teaches technology as part of history courses. Teacher David Perry incorporates lessons in Internet safety and basic word processing into the class in addition to using Microsoft PowerPoint and other software to teach history concepts. The program is being piloted this year in Perry's middle-school class.
